I'm a classic car enthusiast and owner. I have years of experience and knowledge of working on cars and bikes. I have owned over 25 cars and completed full body off restorations of American cars and full motorcycle rebuilds. My current project is a Corvette C3. I am self-employed in a variety of fields. I am a qualified Electrician and fully experienced mechanical engineer and project manager. I work alot with electric motors and pumps in my part time day job. I have a fully equipped workshop which I use to carry out all my parts restoration.
Commercial premises are very costly, I choose to work from home with no overheads, keeping my services at an affordable rate. I am a person who works to a very high standard without botching. You can trust me to look after your parts and I will keep you informed. If something is not right with a part and it is not properly serviceable I will tell you. I work at a steady pace and do not do rush jobs. I will give you a realist timescale for the work to be done properly. I will only be satisfied if you are 100% happy with the results. A high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
I do this work because I enjoy bringing tired looking worn out parts back to life. I like fixing and repairing things. I like to see the change from dirty to new again. I understand how much it means to get a project vehicle back on the road again, I also understand the time and effort it takes. (let's not dwell on the money!!)
I like to talk to other classic car enthusiasts. I am a member of the Classic Corvette Club UK and have been a member of the Jaguar Drivers Club. I currently drive an XJS. I'm a bit of an expert on Jaguars (6s and V12s) and C3 Corvettes. I am also an expert on Ford Thunderbirds, having restored a '67.
I enjoy helping other car owners with advice and technical help. I can usually work out what is wrong with something and point people in the right direction to fix it.
